Terms of Service

Effective date: April 2026

These terms govern your use of VouchPath. Please read them. They are written in plain language and kept as short as possible while covering what matters.

01

Acceptance

By using VouchPath you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

02

What VouchPath is

VouchPath is a professional endorsement platform that allows candidates to collect, curate, and share structured endorsements from colleagues. We are currently in beta. Features may change.

03

Your responsibilities as a candidate

You may only request vouches from people you have genuinely worked with. You may not fabricate, solicit false, or otherwise misrepresent endorsements. Accounts found doing this will be terminated. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide on the platform.

04

Your responsibilities as a voucher

By submitting a vouch response you consent to your response being stored on VouchPath and potentially published on the candidate's public profile. You confirm that your response reflects your honest professional observations and does not contain false, defamatory, or misleading statements.

05

Candidate control and consent

Candidates control what gets published. By publishing a vouch response, candidates confirm they have the voucher's implicit consent through the submission process. Candidates must not alter or misrepresent the content of a vouch response before publishing it.

06

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you create on VouchPath. By submitting content you grant VouchPath a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform for the purposes of operating the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

07

Disclaimer

VouchPath is provided as-is during beta. We make no guarantees about hiring outcomes. We are not responsible for decisions made by employers based on VouchPath profiles. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

08

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting vouchpath@gmail.com.

09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
